So I started at 238 and need to lose 70lb hoping this will be achieved by summer after this I may venture another 28lb still undecided.
Day 4 I am on now. It’s killed me at work as customers are placing chocolate reduce down on my conveyor belt or whole chicken with skin. But so far I have had 2 fakeaways, stir fry and salt and pepper chicken pasta with salad with each meal apart from breakfast that is now constantly weighed out.
Everyone dieting we have got this and we will succeed it’s a new decade let’s see where we all are in 10 years weight wise and exercise wise. At this precise moment just working self scan and walking between store and petrol station and home to work and back is my confidence in exercise. 1 thing at a time. Last year I quit smoking mid January and then decided to diet for the 12 week run up to Xmas and was fluctuating week to week. This year I am totally focused so once I see a change in my figure and feel confident in myself and body I may throw in couch to 5k again or the home workouts etc in the future

I may be wrong but I don't think you ever joined a weigh-in team or used the Daily Diary. I would recommend both so that you can get the most out of the forum.
If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.
Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
I live in a big city admittedly but we have loads running all the time both free and paid and I have volunteered at some and seen very overweight people benefit.
I would also suggest parkrun it’s weekly and free. Just register online and print your barcode. You just need to walk 5K to start. There is always a tailwalker so you won’t be last and if at the back you can talk to them while you go around. It’s timed so over the weeks you will see your time improving and that could be very motivating.
