Hello to all you lovely people on here. It is a very long time since I was online. I totally lost interest in my losing weight as it is not budging at all no matter what I give up. I think it’s the medication I take but such is life.
I was wondering if anyone on here who suffers with fibromyalgia has ever had lignocaine treatment. After being to a pain clinic I was given a sheet of paper explaining how they do it but am wary of accepting it.
Thank you in advance 🥺

It might be your medication and/or fibromyalgia causing the problem, but 99% of the time when people say "I'm doing everything right and the weight isn't shifting", the solution is implicit in the problem: if what they were doing were right, the weight would be shifting.
We torture outselves like this because we're still being told by the Experts to "eat less [fat] and move more", even when it's patently obvious that that works for nobody except a lucky minority.
I spent 10 years thinking "why am I doing everything right and the weight isn't shifting?" until I finally realised the standard advice is incorrect. Some people do it for a whole lifetime. Don't be one of those guys.
You haven’t mentioned what type of eating plan you are following, but if it is the ‘eat less, move more , cut fat, eat diet/low fat foods’, then I think you may find the following an interesting Read
Hi Lucigret thank you for all info. Yes I am doing the usual cutting down sugar little fat etc. I have kindly been given advice before on here about the LCHF and as yet have not tried it. Perhaps I need to. Just have so much going on at the moment with hospital appointments but if I’m honest It’s Me who has to make more of an effort.
Your very welcome 😊. Just remember, ‘If you keep doing what you have always done, you will always get the same results’ 😀
I understand, only too much, how life gets in the way, you need to make some time for you to be able to plan. Eating less carbs and eating good fats will keep you full, stop cravings and make your insides very happy 😁
