Hi Juvi. I think a strong “why” helps to keep up my motivation. I have my “why” written down and look at it regularly. It keeps me focused. Mine sounds like this:
“I want to live a long, active, pain free life and be there for my children for many years to come. I have high blood pressure and osteoarthritis in my hip. Losing weight might help with the constant pain in my hip area and lower my BP. I would love to get off the meds. I want to feel strong and beautiful again. I want to feel good about my body.”
What’s your “why”?
Good! I think it is worth mentioning that it does not have to be one big why. A collection of smaller whys are just as good. "I want to be able to walk up the stairs at work/play with children/grand children without losing my breath", "I want to look good in my wedding dress", "I want to be able to enjoy and be active during my vacation"... etc.
Make a collection of statements and go over them often

If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.
