Hi I am restarting here again. Last time I was on here I was climbing rapidly towards 17 stones. This morning after a good 6 months I am down to 13stones 11 but have hit a plateau or should that be a brick wall...just need some encouragement to stick with it and start losing again x

If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.
Some of us here find that what works (for weight loss, plateaux and brick walls) is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:
Wow Lynette you've done incredibly well in a short space of time. Your body is probably just adjusting. Don't give up. Maybe check out the NHS BMI counter and check your recommend daily calorie count. You may be eating too little. Anyway well done 🌟
Hi Lynette, I am just starting and am where you were 6 months ago. What you've achieved in that time is amazing and really helpful to me to see what is achievable, especially when the amount I need to lose just seems daunting!

Thank you. I'm just starting this week and will look through everything over next few days. Weigh in day will be Tuesday for me so I will look into joining that group/event - see still to get my head around how everything works! But the amount of support seems amazing - and for free 😊!
