What diary do you mean? Some people use various apps to log their meals - MyFitnessPal is one and you can see various posts about this in Topics - Apps and trackers

Bridge Girl is quite right. I use My Fitness Pal run by Under Armour. You can have a daily diary and log your progress.

Also there is the 12 week NHS plan where you can log your weekly progress. So off you go to begin your journey with gusto(and I don’t mean the meal delivery people).

Good morning

Thank you for that, I will register with My Fitness Pal later. Day 3 today...now usually I would have gradually gone off the wagon at this point!! BUT NO...woke up and still filled with positivity !! Can't wait to go shopping to get my FULL FAT Greek yoghurt!! I really feel I will lose this 2 stone of fat this time...I won't let my fellow healthy lifestylers down. You take your valuable time to help people like me and for that I am very thankful.

Now let me see...erm ...oh yes it's breakfast time, hooray I can eat, I am very hungry... enjoy your day everyone. Jay x

There way to log your weight and diary on this forum are to ...

Use the daily diary posts - you log what you plan to eat, can post the calories or plan you are following and interact with others and their plans

Weight - pick a day you want to weigh in and post on the weekly weigh in post on that day. Stick to the same day every week and support other members posting that day :)

Good morning everyone

It's been over a week now since I decided once and for all to start my journey of cutting out processed foods to get rid of my layer of ugly unhealthy FAT! It was the wake up call of having a mini stroke that did it. I thought I was just pleasantly overweight, as on the whole I thought I ate healthily and was always on the move but really although I cook and eat well so I thought, really I now know I was not eating enough of the RIGHT foods i.e. all coloured fruits and veg fish full fat yogurt eggs, protein filled foods, rather than empty carbs.. .. white bread white rice crisps chocolate sweets crisps cakes etc...Now I do not just swan into the kitchen and carelessly pop anything in my mouth between meals, I stop and think first, do I really want or need this or if I am really hungry I will have a healthy snack I.e. an apple with bit of peanut butter or carrot in hummus or a hard boiled egg...to name a few... I do bake too, all friends and family including my grand children love my cakes. Now I may have a very small piece, eat it slowly sitting down with my cuppa not just stuffing some in my mouth when I'm passing through the kitchen!

I have even had a comment already telling me "Gosh you look well, you've lost weight" This is just after one week! I have actually lost 5lbs in 8 days. My tummy fat has definitely reduced because apart from my jeans been looser I can now see my , you know what , when I look down!!

I haven't told my partner I'm on this journey, change of lifestyle, because he really isn't interested and would never tell me I look nice or I've lost weight so I'm just waiting to see if he will in the days, weeks moving forward notice my changing figure!

Now then...im starving, breakfast time here I come!!!

Jay

It's good to hear you sounding so positive. How about joining a weigh in team and using the Daily Diary to make the most of the forum? I've just been reading people's plans on the Diary and they've sent me off exploring for new ideas. This will help you find them healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
