I was the same and now you realise it please start now as I feel there is not enough warning about the weight gain which in my case piled on so I lost confidence too .Suggest until you get meal plans / macros sorted you take a multi vitamin tablet as this helped me . I ban nothing from my meal plans but portion and try no snacks .3 good meals and I did average of 1400 cals which means you can eat realistically.For me it was modification not starvation and a eating plan for life with 3 gym /Zumba/swim for my joints .17 kg lighter I maintain-not super skinny but confidence boost and healthier.

Really feel for you as that’s me x I keep a food diary and try to replace fatty food with fruit x it’s hard but I’m slowly getting there x my food diary really helps and the best advice I was ever given x good luck
