Exercise can help you lose weight - but, if you are unfit and overweight, there will be a limit to how much exercise you can do... and you should be very careful to avoid injury.
Gentle exercise, like walking or swimming, is ideal.
If you are not fit, it takes an hour or more a day to make a significant difference to your weight... but you will still benefit.
