Hi. I’m starting my nhs plan tomorrow and would like to introduce myself as I’m a newbie. Taking one day at a time and hopefully on Saturday 15th I will have lost something. A pound will be great. I have 21 pounds to lose to get to my goal weight of 11st 11lbs so I defo need motivation. Here goes the pounds 🤐

Hi, very well done for making the decision to begin. I am glad you are not being unrealistic in hoping to lose too much weight too soon. If you set yourself small goals which can be achieved and see those goals come to fruition, it will motivate you even more. The important thing is to enjoy yourself whilst you adapt to your new 'lifestyle'. I am new today and hope to practice what I preach, lol.

Thank you. I’ve tried to lose big numbers but it’s too much pressure so I can cope with a 1lb loss a week or 2 weeks.
A half to a full pound per week is not really slow if maintained. It quickly adds up.
