hi all just about to start my journey to lose 5 stone, i dropped washing machine on my foot last year and not moving about has not helped the weight fight, then i was told after a blood test i am in menopause ( nice 40th birthday pressie )
i do believe that has not helped with my weight around my belly as i gave up booze for ages and the gut got bigger so can only assume the meno didnt help there!
been looking up lots of ideas on healthy meal ideas and i am ready to get cracking

Sorry to hear about your foot, though pretty impressive that you were able to carry a washing machine around.

Good idea to have been looking up healthy meal ideas. If you look at the Daily Diary (here's today's one healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... ), you will find even more ideas. It's where people post their daily menus, get ideas from others, receive feedback whilst getting to know other people.

Hi Teen237 and welcome to the forum. You have made a good start to your weight loss journey by coming on here. Join one of the weigh in days and you will meet more people on their own journeys. My main bit of advice to you would be to take small steps . Five stone to lose can be daunting but work on 7lbs at a time and that sounds better. I find that after over 16 months I still weigh my food, count the calories and write it all down..thus has and I still working for me. I also noted my measurements at the start too so I could see what progress I made. You will get lots of support and encouragement from members here. Look forward to watching your progress. Have a lovely week and all the best. Hope your foot has improved now, no more using the washer for weight training!!! Sue 🌷🌷🌷
