Weight increased. This week hit the biscuits. Will try to walk them off.

Hello dack, and I’m sorry to hear you’ve had a gain ☹️ Unfortunately it’s very difficult to walk off any weight gain, (unless you are running a marathon). Food plays a much bigger part in fat loss.

Yep... can’t out walk or out run a bad diet! A marathon burns less than a pound of fat... and the carb loading kinda defeats that before the start line!

Don’t stress it... the journey is about months and years... a week can be “bad” but it’s about the whole journey. There’s some complicated science on walking/running off calories, in my experience the exercise needs to come before the eating, that way it’s clearer.

So... one day the scales don’t say what you want them to... I smashed mine with a sledgehammer, you’ve taken the more sensible approach of identifying the cause... and so you go into the next part of the journey more aware. That’s not a bad thing. Relax... get some good walking in.. eat well and see what the scales say next time.
