Morning all, I’m new today here ... I’ve actually been “dieting” for almost 5years now & in 5years I’ve put on nearly 6stone (which means I’ve basically added another human being to my body 😩) i need help ... I wish someone could follow me round & punch me if I was to eat anything bad ... but as that can’t happen, any tips on how to kick this off? Thanks x

Hi and welcome, Laussfaye
Many of us have discovered, to our chagrin, that dieting just doesn't work and that the only sustainable way forward, is to follow a healthy lifestyle. You may like to consider a different way of eating phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...
which should help with the compulsion to eat the 'wrong' things.
Follow this link to our chat thread and a list of all the activities we run. We've found active participation to be key to success, especially with our weigh-ins and Daily Diary

Hello and welcome
My tip would be to remember what you've written here and what you've learned over the past 5 years - that diets don't work and you need to find a new way of eating healthily that you will enjoy for life. Start by ditching anything labelled 'diet' or 'low cal' or 'light/lite'.

Hello Laussfaye. Don't think of it as a diet, think of it as a lifestyle. Diets only last so long, hopefully a new lifestyle will last much longer. I don't know which weight loss plan you wish to follow, that will be your decision. I am doing LCHF, which I am finding easy to do. I seem to feel fuller for longer, not snacking, still eating delicious food. Whatever you decide on, I wish you luck, and read the advice the more experienced members on here provide. X😊
