I have been thinking of losing weight. I lost 1 stone last year when diagnosed with heart failure but it was all fluid. Since then my weight is static. I need to lose at least 5 stones. But I have to control my fluid intake, I have underactive thyroid, but I am a healthy eater and have tried ww diet for 6 months and lost nothing. I can't do exercise just yet as I don't feel well enough. So I'm desperate but need to be realistic.

I had heart failure which made me powerchair dependent and disabled. When I had lost a bit of weight, and had a new pacemaker and additional atrial lead inserted, I was cured... and I think that one of the stones I lost might have been fluid.
