I'm back. My health has been pretty rotten this last year. 2019 has to be better. Determined to get myself motivated . Joined the #walk1000miles group. Now need to sort my evening binges out and get back to a healthy diet. I am looking forward to reading your motivational posts. Here We go 🙂

Welcome back BritanniaP though sorry to hear that your health hasn't been good. Sounds like you've already making positive steps (no pun intended ).

From my own perspective, I'm finding that in addition to reading others' motivational posts, that by replying to people's posts and getting involved with the Daily Diary helps with boosting my focus. I can see that there's much more than that to do here as well.

A couple of thoughts. It's clear that the way you've gone about it previously hasn't worked for you. We usually blame ourselves about this - no willpower, weak motivation etc - but it may well come down to what you're eating, rather than how much. I'll give you a couple of links and hope you'll give serious thought to taking a different tack this time, which might pay off better for you
