I’m only 5ft 1 and weight 13 stone.

Hello, Marleyjo19, and welcome to the forum 😊

This place has all the advantages of a club with none of the downsides. Make sure you come here often, daily if possible, to get the most out of it.

A good way to start would be joining today’s weigh in team. You'll get to know a very supportive bunch of people who will appreciate your support, too. Here's the link. If you read the opening post, it will explain all healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

You'll find a list of all the forum activities here healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

..... and this Newbie pack will help you find your way around healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

We also ask that you read this information about internet privacy and security .....

I see your post isn't locked. This means that it, and any replies, can be shared around the Internet without your knowledge or consent (see the Twitter and Facebook logos below your post). Often that won't matter to you but sometimes people discuss personal stuff or accidentally disclose something that might identify them so we think it's a good extra level of security to lock your posts. :)

Wishing you all the best and I hope you become an active and supportive member of the forum 😊

Hi, Marleyjo19 , Welcome.

If you can lose weight by "just ' cutting things out and eating healthy" it saves the hassle of counting calories, and it makes it easier to change to "maintenance mode".

I think that not eating in the evening (or Intermittent Fasting [IF]) helps me.

Hi Marleyjo19

I dont blame you for not wanting to join some groups as i found them not to help.

I personally find it helps me to plan my meals for the week ahead and post as regularly as i can in the daily diary. I also weigh in on the Sundays weigh in post which makes me face it.

Good luck for cutting things out if that works for you, i tend to find it doesnt work for me, i incorporate things into a healthy balanced diet (on the whole-minus December 🤣) otherwise i focus on what ive cut out !
