Morning Smoothie Recipe
Hi and welcome, kulsumd
You haven't said whether you're type 1 or type 2 diabetic and whether there's a reason for needing a smoothie recipe? Eggs would be a lot more filling and have less sugar. Have a look at this phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...

Hello kulsumd. FRUITY CARROT SMOOTHIE!
This one avoids too much fructose and is packed full of goodies, but you do need a macho liquidiser, and a juicer is best: Take two big carrots and three satsumas or mandarines. Skin these and juice the flesh. Scrape the carrots lightly, slice and squidge in the machine.
It's a good idea to make two to three lots in one go so you're not doing this every morning.
Makes a yummy, vibrantly sunny drink which delivers you lots of vitamin C and other goodies without giving you too much of a sugar spike. Also lines the tummy nicely for the morning, though not a full brekky in itself, of course.
Hope you enjoy! love Betty x
Sorry kulsumd I didn't see your ref to diabetes. Take two, if not all of the satsumas out! Still a super drink but you may need to water carrots down or a bit sludgey on their own!
