Hi. I have lost about 10lbs and feel much better for it but am now stuck. I still have about 2 st to go to reach a healthy bmi. I hope fellow triers out there will help me with tips and encouragement. When you try to go it alone there is always the temptation to say 'never mind....l will do better next week"

Looking for support to lose weight AND keep it off
Hi and welcome, MrsFattyArbuckle
It's definitely easier to keep on track, when you have a support network as good as this community, but well done for losing 10lbs on your own
I've awarded you a 7lb badge and your next will be your 1 stone badge.

Hi!
I am here to lose 6 st!!! Only just started counting calories, really watching what I am eating and challenging myself. Come here a few times a day! Read posts and chat with people. It really helped me to see I am not alone and 3 days now I haven't touched any extra food what wasn't planned! Good luck and looking forward to see your journey with us!
That temptation is always there .. i've personally had a couple of weeks where i've thought, blow it - ill do better next week. But after 2 days of thinking that, i've tried to drag myself back on track. Getting back on here really does help, the daily diary especially for me.
Planning helps but also reminding myself - i am doing this FOR ME! .. I'm making this change for me, not what others think.
We all have those off weeks, if you can do 3 good weeks and 1 week where you think "ill do better next week" .. over a month - that's progress!
Sometimes, for a while, you see not improvement on the scales, but, if you stick to the "rules" or the diet, you find that you have lost fat, and you are back on track ...I have "platformed" but then caught up - but Rome was not built in a day, and, it the long-term trend is down, you will get there.
