Hi everyone! I just joined this forum in a last ditch attempt to lose weight. I’ve been exercising and eating healthily for the past three years but my weight hasn’t shifted. I’ve tried many different eating plans and restricted calories but no luck. I started the NHS 12 week eating plan 4 weeks ago eating 1400 calories a day and 160 mins of exercise (burning an additional 1500 calories a week) but still no change in weight. I’m desperate to lose a stone - I know it might not seem like much but it is really frustrating putting so much effort in and not seeing results.
I’ve been to the doctor and he just laughed and said I should try harder - my blood tests were all normal. I have no idea what to do now, whether I should eat less or eat more or what. Any suggestions welcome (apologies for the long post).

Thanks concerned. So over the years I tried different things. I did low/no carb for a few months then I tried a 1200 calorie diet for a few months. When that didn’t work I tried slim fast for three months. And then I’d get frustrated and try it all again. I also changed/upped my exercise routines during that time. Now I’m on 1400 calories.
Typical day:
B - overnight oats with banana and Greek yogurt - 320 calories
L - chicken salad and wholewheat Pitta - 300 calories
D - baked sweet potato with tuna / chicken/fish with steamed veg - 480 calories
Snacks - hoummous and carrots, fruit or ryvita crackers - 300 calories
I usually don’t eat the same thing every day but this is a rough guide.
