Have begun to get my allotment back into shape which it sorely needed -finding very dormant muscles!😮 This week I have done more exercise and I feel better for it in my body and mind!
Food wise I am trying to clock everything that passes my lips and note it to be aware of calories. That is hard work but you do realise that you have to own each morsel then.
I felt very hungry today and my daughter made a sandwich cake 🍰 at school! I did have a piece and two chocolates and a glass of wine! But as I had had a low cal salad for lunch it seemed to work out ok for calories.
I find I need to have that flexibility I hope it works-here comes the weekend ...enjoy it everyone 🌞

Good work on the allotment. Are you growing lots of veg?
Regarding food, my experience was that at the beginning I just counted calories and didn't make huge changes to what I ate, apart from bread as I could go overboard on that (and I had drastically cut down on alcohol a year before).
Over time, I changed things bit by bit and still am doing 6 months on. I have found my tastes and appetites changed over time, and planning meals, even if I'm not as strict as I might be, has meant I don't have unnecessary "stuff" in the cupboards. But I am aware it's easier for me as I only have myself to plan for.
You're not going to fall too far from the wagon for today's extras, and when your daughter brings her school baking home, I should think you'd want to try it and show her you appreciate it (maybe you could have skipped the chocs and wine, though )
I have to get out of the mindset that some foods are evil -as a child I remember my mum not allowing me to have pudding when everyone else was so then it made me want them even more but at the same time feel very bad for having them at times in secret! Thanks for those words made me think 💭 Happy weekend 😉
