Fantastic loss to date hallroy12 , you must feel really proud of yourself. Yet how frustrating that you're stuck at the moment. This isn't unusual and hopefully, this may help...

Hi hallroy,

It can be frustrating, but after a period of restricting intake, it's always a good idea to deliberately maintain, to allow our bodies to reset themselves. Have a look at this

I'd also ask you to step back and consider whether you're happy at the weight you are now? Do you feel fit and healthy? Are you able to carry out all daily tasks, without feeling that your weight is holding you back? Will losing a few more pounds make a huge difference to you?

You've done a marvellous job of losing the weight, why not take some time to enjoy it and maybe, those last few pounds will go, of their own accord, a little way down the road :)

Thank you moreless, yes I am fairly happy as I feel fitter and healthier than I was and am only slightly overweight but I do want to achieve my goals and will continue to diet and exercise and as you say maybe the last few pounds will eventually go

Fantastic achievement hallroy12 ⭐️

Maybe you could enjoy maintaining for a time... Then reduce your food again to reach your goal?

I am sure you will get there.. your determination is admirable,

Cheering you on 🎉🎉🎉

I am in a very similar place hallroy, in fact I’ve been a very similar weight for over a year, but have recently changed food content, trying to eat less carbohydrates, bread in particular. This hasn’t been easy, but on the two occasions i slipped up (in the last 3 weeks) I felt fat, bloated and had heartburn, which makes the prospect not having bread a little easier!!

The second thing I would add is to be absolutely strict about calories, with time we can easily become complacent, leading to just slight increases, to the detriment of fat loss.

And lastly, use a tape measure! I bought a dress that was slightly ‘snug’ in January and it now fits, without any actual loss showing on the scales 😊

Good luck and very well done on 5 stone loss!!! Phenomenal 😊👏🎉🎖

Well done on losing 30kg though!
