Cheering you on to reach your goals
Hi akhil_k . Horrible word, isn't it? But we have to face reality before we take things in hand, so you're making a start.
One of the admin team will be along shortly to explain how this forum works, so take a bit of time to find your way around and then join in with the mutual support and sharing that's going on.
I bet you've tried diets before, as most of us have. Since I've been here, I've been following the NHS plan which isn't a diet but a guide to healthy eating and living. It's helped me change some habits (tho' I am a work in progress) and hasn't been restrictive or difficult.
Good luck with finding your own way to moving on down that graph
Well done for joining us. You will need to decide what is the best food and drink your you, but you will get lots of ideas from folks here.
Can I encourage you to ditch the work diet and instead thing about creating a healthy lifestyle for yourself. Whatever you do has to be sustainable.
Good luck and come on here regularly.
Like marymanc has already mentioned akhil_k many of us are following the NHS 12 week plan. You'll find a link to it in the reply you received from minniewinny.
All the best.
