Reading round the various areas I get a real feeling of support & positivity, how lovely!
I am a 47 year old single female with two adult children (one of which lives at home and eats pizza 24/7!!) and I have around 3 stones to lose.
I can’t wait to get going, and feel strong fit and healthy!! I’m food shopping today to start the 12 week plan tomorrow and really can’t wait to get the new year started and the pounds falling off. I’m not going out drinking tonight as I don’t want to feel rubbish in the morning - that’s how much I’m ready to do this!
Please feel free to friend me, I’ll be on every day and want to give as much support as I get
I live in Halifax, Yorkshire, U.K. and if anyone is nearby who fancies a walking buddy let me know.
Here’s to a faaaabulous 2018!! xx

Good morning BabetteBodiene , you will find lots of support on this forum. I’m restarting on 2nd Jan , I have been out times in the last weekish than in most of this year & I rather over indulged .
I wish you luck & here’s to a happy & healthier 2018 for all
Hello and welcome, BabetteBodiene . You're right, it is a very supportive and encouraging forum, so do get involved and share the positivity!
The NHS plan has given me a really useful structure, and planning has helped me avoid those little calorific "diversions" shall we say. Hope you find it useful and 2018 is good for you
Welcome - and well done for being organised! This forum is great for support and friendship - and look how well we all do, so it must be doing something right!
I don’t really ‘do’ new year - it makes me depressed thinking about the past and I can’t see the ‘new beginning’ but I am being positive about the changes I am making - and those of all my ‘virtual’ buddies.
