So I need to lose 3 stone to hit my goal I've already lost a stone in 3 weeks with a weight loss aid witch is great but I had lost 10lbs in 7 days without changing any thing but being on a diet I've not lost any more would anyone know why that has happened

Hi and welcome. After you lose some water weight quickly your weight loss slows down. Lucky to lose a pound a week which is normal. Good luck!!

Welcome Melissa.

As Melhall pointed out, there is always likely to be a larger weight loss in the first week or two.

There could be a number of reasons for your slow down, one of which could be that you're not eating enough (could be :) ).

Read through everything that Ceals has pointed you towards and you can hopefully compare what you're doing with what is generally recommended.

Which weight loss aid? A stone in three weeks sounds a lot. That's more than 4.5 pounds a week. I am lucky if I lose half a pound a week.

As Tiggerr has pointed out you can possibly be not even eating enough. I was doing this most of my life and joined here and found out about it and also found out I was only eating around 1000 cals a day by counting calories. I always thought I was over eating. Do check your bmi and calories you do eat because as soon as I started eating the amount this advises to be able to lose weight I started to lose weight. I was so pleased. Although I have come to a stop at the moment I will still not give up as I am determined to get there. Good luck with your journey.
