i really need to loose lots or weight.
I gave up smoking 5 years ago and the weights just pilled on

Welcome R0s1eb22 and congratulations on your smokeless healthier lifestyle. I know how difficult it is to break that habit. I have not been a abstaining smokaholic for 29 years and never ever regretted that decision. The weight you can work on with the lovely inspiring people on the forum helping you along the way. As we say onwards and downwards you go!! :

Well done on taking this step. Please don't give much thought to what has not worked for you so far, simply think of this as a clean slate.
Well done on quitting smoking, that shows you really do have what it takes and I for one believe you can beat this too.
Take this one day at a time and be active here as it really helps with motivation.

I used the patches for a while
Every day I was so proud that I had got through and was
More determine to get over the next day
Then days turned to weeks.
if I felt like I wanted to start again I kept telling my self I could not give in and let myself down
Which made me stronger
Hi and welcome!! You come to the right place. There a lot of great links to connect to within this site. And anybody will help you out. Just start eating healthy 3 meals plus snacks. Some people like no snacks. It is what ever you aim for. Fitness goes hand and with the eating. Lose weight and feel good mentally. Best wishes on your journey!!
