Hi all just like to introduce myself. This is my first time using this website/app so I'm not too sure what to expect as there are so many app out there so I am quite sceptical. I've tried everything from Weight Watchers Slimming World Rosemary Conley and so on. I need and would love to lose 2 stone but I find and I'm hitting my head against a brick wall as I will lose two and put on Three. This is my last hope anyone got any tips😊🙏🏾

Hi and welcome, Chelle1375
Maybe it's time to try something a bit different, so instead of another diet, why not aim for a healthier and sustainable lifestyle? Have a look at these healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...
If you're using the HU app, then you'll struggle to navigate this forum. We advise everyone to delete the app and log onto the full website.
Follow this link to our chat thread and a list of all the activities we run. We've found active participation to be key to success, especially with our weigh-ins and Daily Diary.

Hello and welcome, Chelle1375
To get the most out of the forum, join in with activities, particularly a weekly weigh in and the Daily Diary, ask questions, encourage others - you'll soon feel at home and among friends
Welcome Chelle. I'll take it that this is your 'last try' as long as this is the one that works
There will likely be times when it might look like you've failed but really all that's happened is an opportunity to learn how to do something differently the next time.
People arrive on this forum's shore in a desperate state and the admins always provide lots of information that might help them but few read it and even less make any change from what they've always done.
Staying active on this forum is what helps most of us stay focused and provides us with day to day support from the kind people here. Probably the first two points of call would be today's Weekly Weigh-in and the Daily Diary where you can meet lots of people and start to get a feel as to what's happening here.
Btw, I'm led to believe that the app doesn't provide everything that using the full website does and the general consensus is to stay clear of it if you can.
Best of luck
There's a lot to be said for finding a healthy lifestyle with losing weight as a pleasant side effect. It's much easier to sustain your weight when you reach your target instead of backsliding when your diet comes to an end.
Hi Last Try
Only tips I can confirm really work
40 minute fast walk daily
2 litre water daily
No alcohol
No junk food .
Lots fruit veg -
Very hard but I have lost 7 lbs since 1 October . Just sensible eating as best you can . The adrenaline will flow if you can shed the first 7 lbs
Best of luck -
Sounds like me , done dieting for over 4 years but put it all back on , looking at calling it something different rather than a diet .Think this is working for me just all in moderation and follow tips from people here. One big welcome , I am counting calories but in a more relaxed way not punishing myself if I go over ,
Hi Steve1963. Yes I'm going to start counting calories as I don't want to restrict myself to not having certain things just more on a look at how often I eat them rather than not eat them and hopefully this will work just fed up with this yo-yo diet but as you said rename name rather than calling it a diet. But at the same time still making healthier choices. Thanks for the welcome
Welcome to the forum Chelle
When I first started out this time round I really needed to get on top of my snacking. I too took the view that I would eat what I wanted to but would write everything I ate down without exception! This was critical to holding myself to account and I still log all my food-I now use the Fitbit app having bought myself one for my birthday and use the daily diary on here most days
My diet is so much better now, I rarely have any unplanned snacks and am rarely hungry between meals. I think moderating my carb intake has also been critical. These changes feel completely sustainable too
Good luck with whatever approach you take
