Feeling better after yoga

I have just started doing daily yoga and have found it relaxing as well as good for the core and posture. I found it difficult to do because of the weight around my middle lol but by doing the breathing and just working within my limits it has really helped. I am more chilled out and I seem to remember to correct posture during the day. I feel less cravy for poor diet and more like I am looking after myself. I would love to hear from anyone who practices yoga about the benefits and tips on losing weight through yoga. This forum is really great and supportive I am very inspired by this xx

I’m a yoga fan too Janechic and find it’s one exercise you CAN do despite any hurdles, weight or physical limitations 😊 and it’s such good exercise, I feel physically tired afterwards, which was quite a surprise I can tell you, it looks so easy!! Lol 😊

Hi thanks for your reply 😊 I am 4 stone overweight and practice yoga at home. You can find guided yoga classes on you tube. Then when you like and have spare 30 mins you can do the yoga 🙂

IndigoBlue61 do you follow your yoga from a yoga class on line or do you go to a class. Just wanted to know if there is an on line one that you would recommend?
