How much harder do I push myself?

I have been working very hard for the past six months and lost 10 pounds. I now weight 10 and half stone and I am back to a size 12. But my goal weight is 10 stone, I haven't lost any significant weight for 2 months. I am sticking to 1300-1400 calories, walking, running and doing yoga.

I am trying to eat a healthy balanced diet, but keep pushing myself to lose the last 7 pounds. But maybe I have found my level?

Lots to celebrate! And how good are you feeling....I know that you know that there are many ways to measure your success....and being at the beginning of my journey, I'm just in awe of you and your success!

That's so kind portlandprincess

I have slipped up many times but as in everything it is important to find balance. As 43 I now realise it's not much about how I look but how I feel and how healthy my body is.

The most important thing for me is to be grateful for my health and happiness, focus on the positive and enjoy living xx

Good luck on your journey 😊

Try calorie cycling. Have some days lower and some higher.... Google it and see what you think. And or do some more strength training....hope you get to goal soon

Thanks 2bfabnfit

I looked it up and it seems doable. I do tend to eat less on the days I am at work, so I could mix things up a bit and see what happens.

Hi Eatwell,

The last few pounds are often the hardest to shift - I've been trying to lose my final pounds for quite some time - good luck with your plan to do some calorie cycling. Wishing you a great week ahead.

You've made great progress and achieved a lot.
