5 years ago I lost 4 stone, but it's creeping up on me again. I'm 57, pretty fit and active, but still struggle with my weight. I was excited to discover this website, and hope to learn my way around it quickly - it's quite complicated for this newbie!

Hello Xante and welcome to the NHS weight Loss Forum
This is a very friendly forum with lots of really useful information so please take your time in reading and learning how to find your way around. First of all I'd like to invite you to join our Newbie Club, which we hope will be a good place for you to connect with members, who are also just starting out. If you just post a few words to introduce yourself and respond to others there, you'll soon break the ice. Here's the link

You'll find all the information you need to navigate the forum in the header and a link to the 12 week plan, so please take the time to read it carefully.
Secondly, you are not alone in losing weight and then regaining, I have had a lifetime on the seesaw of weight loss, but hopefully, this time is different. I’ve been on my journey for over two years, and seem to be much more successful at maintaining, because I have accepted a complete change in lifestyle.
If you are already fit and active you are well on the way! Look out for our exercise challenges, the details are in the Newbie Club 😊
Wishing you all the best
Anna
