I’m 20 and weight 15stone 6! I desperately need too lose weight and as fast as possible, I won’t go to a gym because I don’t have the confidence for it, can anyone recommend anything for me please?

You have made the first biggest step by coming here to this forum, well done!
You will receive great advice and fantastic support here. There are many things to join in with here eg. The Daily Diary, where you log everything you are eating each day, plus how many calories everything is. There is also a weekly weigh in each day. You just pick what day you would like to weigh in on, and then weigh in on the same day every week.

Hi and welcome to the forum Shannonlouise6578 first off you have made your first step, finding us here Secondly I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but ...... there is NO fast safe way to lose weight slow is the safest way to go
I don't go to the gym either - but you do need to do some form of exercise I walk - others do the c25k, others go swimming etc some do a fitness routine at home, others use a hoola hoop at home - there is plenty of info and ideas on here

This won't be what you want to hear but quick weight loss, even when achieved, tends to lead to the weight going back on and then some. The ethos here tends to be one of creating healthy eating habits that are sustainable after you've reached your desired weight.

Great beginning joining here as there is plenty of info.
The most important part or losing weight is knowing how much you eat and making sure it is not more than your body needs so you need to keep an honest record and count calories carefully
Walking fast is good and free and climbing stairs . Try not to sit for long periods of time by standing up every 30 mins. Just make sure you are as active as possible
If you make a weight kiss plan and stick to it you will lose weight. We all have days when it is easier to do than others and on the hard days log in here and there will always someone to cheer you up and spur you on
