All Inclusive holidays
Good morning Hidden
All inclusive, like buffets and BBQs are very challenging 😕
The advice I read was take your plate, choose with care, things you REALLY fancy, add some salad/ veg, AND ONLY EAT THE ONE PLATEFUL. That's the really difficult bit I know, we want to go back !!! But try to really enjoy what you have, eat slowly and savour each bite.
Also decide which calorie dense food you want the most and skip the rest. I love cheese so skip dessert. If you want dessert, skip the chips.
And enjoy yourself! Food is a pleasure 😊
Good luck!

hi enjoy your holiday- load up with veggies, avoid creamy sauces but tomato based sauces are fine, as Anna61 wrote restrict yourself to one plate. 1 treat per meal- so if you had a heavy calorie food item for main course then just have fruit for dessert and vice versa. If alcohol is included then mixer drinks (apart from cocktails) are lower in calories than wine and white wine is lower than red. If you look at the 12 week NHS plan weeks 5,7 & 9 they can give you some guidance. More importantly remember you are on holiday and calories shouldn't dominate your holiday- just try not to go overboard but also try and be relaxed about it and allow yourself the occasional treat. Remember exercise so swim and walk and that will help counteract what you eat. If you put on a few lbs then don't worry you will work it off when you're back at home as long as you had a great time on holiday and know you didn't go overboard

Not sure if helpful but if we go all inclusive I use a side plate not a dinner plate.
