I was 12st 10lb last Monday and fitted my trouser weightband. But this week, in spite of walking more (in airports) and eating the same amount of food and drinking more or less the same drinks I have jusr weighed myself and found I am 13stone. Is it true that flying (twice this week) can cause weight gain? I am discouraged.

Could it be your totm? Or water retention for walking around so much?
Don't give up.
Totm ceased to be an issue a long time ago. I'm 70 on Tuesday. But I've not heard of walking in relation to water retention before. How does that work?
Sometimes when I increase walking my ankles swell, I assume it's water retention - when I get some rest it goes again.
