Hi, I think a Friday is a good day. Most people seem to eat a bit more at weekends so weighing on a Friday gets to show you at your best. I used to weigh in here on a Saturday as I found it best for that reason.
I love Friday weigh! I can chill at the weekend and have 4 days to redress the balance.
This way you have time to plan your menus for the week and ensure you have all you need in the house to make them up...
No better time to start than when you make the decision.. Postponing it is not always beneficial.

I think starting on a Friday shows a real determination to do it this time. I started on a Monday but made the decision on a Friday and ate like it was Christmas over the weekend so this first week I guess I'll only be losing the weight I accumulated on those two days. So well done you👍
Friday is a great day to start. I started on a Monday and therefore weekly weigh ins are on a Monday. If you have a bad weekend food and/or booze wise, then Monday isn't great for weighing yourself. Obviously you can't do it every weekend, but parties, weddings etc. do happen. So in summary you have made a good choice.
