It's day 2 and I actually managed to not binge last night. I kept going for food and managed to keep reminding myself that I wasn't hungry and to take control of my actions. I filled up on a bottle of water instead.
I also got weighed this morning for the first time in a couple of months, and I was pleasantly surprised - I'm actually not as heavy as I have been, and at least now I know where I'm starting from.
A new battery for my exercise bike has arrived today too, so I'm going to brave a short stint tonight. I need to break that psychological barrier even if it's only ten minutes as it will make it easier the next time.
Very early days, but I'm feeling positive!

Well done for completing day 1 and staying on track, that the hardest day over now. It good that you now know your starting point and it must of been nice to know you were lighter than you thought.
Enjoy your exercise bike. I built my exercise up slowly on my bike started off at 10 minutes a day with one rest day a week. The I added another 5 minutes after a month until I now do 25 minutes a day.
Day 2 for me too! Sounds like you are doing really well.
I ordered shopping on line to avoid temptations. Delivered today so I'm all set! Planning healthy meals for each day. To take the thinking out of it. Planning to count calories and allow enough for a little treat each night.... but going to walk to our local shop and back each night to get it. Hopefully that will stop my cravings.
Good luck with it all 😀
Well done on not binging last night that's a hard thing to do I know through experience and glad your not as heavy as you thought.Good luck.
Good luck with the bike. I have started using mine too. I found that walking also helped me get over the hurdle of getting started and my fear of running in public ! started doing a brisk hour walk and then eventually had the courage to start running.
