Welcome Porky1.
An administrator will reply to your post and give you a heads up on ways for you to move forward and how to get the most from this forum. Well worth reading and taking in.
Do you have a structured meal plan? I also have an active job and when I started here back in January I went from eating once a day to 3 regular meals a day. This has helped reduce my urge to snack, although I do have the occasional one (healthy ones hopefully). With your job, I don't know how easy it is for you to create that sort of structure but if you haven't one in place at the moment then it may well be worth trying.
Lots of great support here from friendly, knowledgeable and helpful people, so do post if you have any queries and thoughts (happy or sad) and someone will always be around to help.
Good luck!
Morning Porky1

Hi Porky1
I understand where you are coming from. Working night or shift is hard. I have Been there.
And planning your meals is hard. Buy a Slow cooker that's what I found best. And when you leave off there`s a nice meal waiting for you .
You should not need to much motivation to eat Healthy and exercise, because what you see in your work.
So come on. you can do it.
Kind Regards Phil62
P.S I have lost 3 Stone on the NHS 12 week Plan. Calories and Portion Control and exercise.
Yes it is indeed very difficult and yes you are quite right, what I see is very frightening iro poor diet, hard living. I am not obese but try to maintain a decent weight. I try to calorie count then a week later the scales haven't moved. Grrrr. Do you find the chart helpful π
