I am a Spanish lady very keen on cheesecakes, mayonnaise and fatty foods, I hope you all inspire me to achieve my weight loss target and my lifestyle change.
I offer myself to help anytime.
I am supposed to master the mediterranean diet but I am afraid I am not very good at it.
I feel I am going to need lots of help from all of you to stick to my goal and overcome the dark nights on my journey.
I send my picture taken only a few days ago in my hometown in Spain. I hope I get better than that!!!

Hello Sole_1 😊 Welcome to the Weight Loss NHS forum. It’s great that you’ve joined.😊
First place to look is at the Pinned Posts section, to the right of your screen (bottom, if you're using a mobile) and have a look at the Welcome Newbies thread.😊 there is lots of info here, and links to the nhs12 week plan and also for checking your BMR and target calories 😊 it's important to eat enough so you don't get hungry or feel deprived 😊 It's also important to find a way of eating that suits you and your lifestyle. Spain has lovely fresh produce and a much sunnier climate that where I live in Scotland, I do envy you! 😊 My sister lives north of Barcelona and I fly out regularly so I'm lucky 😊
If you feel confident then join us for the Monday Group weigh-in. If you follow Lowcal and Moreless (our very approachable site Admins), you'll be notified when they post the threads. The latest weigh-in thread can always be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page. 😊
Be active on the forum, as that's where we exchange ideas and get our daily dose of motivation and inspiration.😊 This is a real benefit of this forum, and a great way to help when you feel like bubbling!!
Cheesecake - look at healthy swaps; there is a lovely recipe using baked bananas, eggs and cream cheese, and make a healthy base using a fat free sponge or a little crushed cereal....experiment with ideas and let us know what you come up with?
Mayonnaise - try mixing natural yogurt with one third mayo, salt, pepper and some soft cheese perhaps? There are many ways to reduce the oil content without losing the flavour.
Cakes, Biscuits and pastry....these can be swapped for low-fat alternatives or just serve half your normal portion size perhaps?
