Hi Bubbles656
The easiest way to loose weight is to get your mindset in the right place, then as you plan and see your progress... Enjoy the journey. That way anything you enjoy becomes easier and you see the benefits.
Cheering you on πππ
Bubbles656 I agree with Minniewinny mindset is the most important thing. I would add make food your friend, not your enemy. Have an adventure with food and think about what you can have not what you can't have.
Come on the forum regularly and join in with conversations, get to know people. Everyone is so lovely and everyone supports everyone else.
Take care and good luck.

The best way is slowly and steadily, fast weight loss is not normally sustainable you can lose weight fast but you normally just put it back on when you start eating properly, really not good for you (sorry I've been a yo-yo dieter for years it doesn't work)
Healthy eating and exercise is the way to go
Good luck

The most successful weightloss is usually 1-2 lbs a week, no more. The body adapts better and you have a better chance of keeping it off. Try not to think of this a going on a diet, this is a change for life . Approach it slow and steady using a Bmi calculator as starting point to see how many calories you need to lose weight ( as a guide, to lose we need 20-25% less than to maintain) . Measure, weigh your portions and use a calorie calculator to work out your calories , eg myfitnesspal. Then add in some exercise even if its only a daily walk it all helps speed up metabolism.
In 2014 , I was also 12st. It took me 11months to lose 2st, Since then I have maintained it and this year even dropped another 6 lbs .
Enjoy the support from all the people on this forum and you'll do it, not in 3 months maybe, but you definitely can do it this year.
