Absolutely chuffed to bits with my efforts in week 1. Have stuck religiously to both a healthier eating plan and exercise plan and the result is breathtaking. As I said in my first post last week with help encouragement and willpower I KNOW I can do this.
START FIGURES
Weight 23st 8.5 pounds Now 22st 10 pounds
Body Fat 38.4% Now 37.5%
BMI 42.4 Now 40.7
More importantly my wife has also started to do more exercise although she does not need to lose much weight she has also recorded good figures losing 2.25 pounds.
Heres hoping next weeks figures are again positive .. onwards and upwards.

You have done fantastic in your first week, well done you! Would you like a 7lb badge to replace your newbie one? Keep up the great work and well done to your wife on her 2.25lb loss too.
WOW, WTG you for losing 12.5lb in your first week, that's virtually unheard of, so very well done!
You are now eligible for a badge for your 7lb loss from an admin, (calling the Admins - YellowRose55 , Hidden , IndigoBlue61 , moreless ) if you so wish!
It's great too, that your wife is joining you in losing some weight, and please congratulate her on her 2.25lb loss this week too
Don't be surprised if your loss slows down, after the first few weeks, as most people lose lots of weight at first, and then it slows down after your body becomes used to your new eating and exercise plan
Thanks for your words of encouragement and yes yellow rose has been in contact to award me my badge. I have lost a large amount of weight before but due to personal reasons went very much off the rails and decided to join this site as I do need a goal weekly to keep me going. The response and other posts are both humbling and encouraging and if I can help anyone with words of advice then that would also be rewarding for me.
I personally don't want to join a daily weigh in but will continue to share my results weekly regardless of good or bad figures as I know from experience sometimes results can be disappointing.
This forum is very supportive and I've found it a massive help in my journey to being healthy again
Results will be disappointing, that's how life is, and it's the same with weight loss, it's just one of those things. I should rephrase - the weigh ins are run everyday, but you just choose one day to weigh in
