Losing Weight Steadily

I have been married to Wayne for 28 years. We have two sons we are very proud of.

I have lost 7 stone over the last few years, and want to lose another 3 stone. I am losing 1-2 pounds weekly.

I use 'My Fitness Pal' App. Adding every morsal I eat, if I leave any food I weigh that and take it off too.

Thanks George. Not had a good week though - discovered how dangerous peanut butter is! Put 3lb back on - ouch! And will struggle over next three days as we're off to Kent to meet my niece's new baby. Heyho! Back on the wagon Thursday. Have a good week yourself. 😊

Welcome to the weight loss forum.

Well done on doing such a brilliant job with losing 7 stone so far.

Take a look at the Welcome Newbie post in the Pinned post section at the right hand side or at the bottom if your on a mobile. Have a look at the nhs 12 week plan, many members have had success following this plan. Use the BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.

Below the Pinned posts are the Topics where members share a range of weight related subjects.

Take your measurements at the start together with a photo so you can see the changes on the days the scales don't move.

We have daily weigh ins so why not come along and join us. You can find the weigh ins on the Home page in the Events section on the right. Just click on the post in Events and record your start weight and any loss/gain or maintain for the week.

To get the most of the forum be active, share tips, recipes and experiences. Read some of the posts they are very motivating.

You sound positive and on track 1-2 lbs is a safe nd steady amount to loose.

Thank you Itsbab, yes my family are very proud, my husband didn't realise I'd lost so much untill he saw a photo from a few years ago then he was flaberghasted.

I'm really pleased for you to lose 7 at. Is amazing I'm struggling with my weight just now and had a gain on the Saturday weigh in.

I'm hoping to follow in your foot steps one day really soon.
