Just took some photos of myself with all my belly hanging out, felt disgusted looking at myself, hopefully they will motivate me to stick to losing weight, fingers crossed they are before photos and I don't stay like this!

Hi Louise, trust me your not on your own, I do it all the time. Intact every morning to help me keep motivated but my sweet tooth is a bugger to break. So tomorrow is THE DAY for me .I am not over weight I don't think? But my stomach is the biggest part of me ; It comes to something when I have to wear a big jumper on a sunny day. You can do this !!! We're all in this together on this forum .I have only just joined and the support is fab 😊x

Welcome to the weight loss forum.

A newbie badge is on it's way as requested.

Take a look at the Welcome Newbie post in the Pinned post section at the right hand side or at the bottom if your on a mobile. Have a look at the nhs 12 week plan, many members have had success following this plan. Use the BMI checker to work out your daily calorie allowance.

Below the Pinned posts are the Topics where members share a range of weight related subjects.

Take your measurements at the start together with a photo so you can see the changes on the days the scales don't move.

We have daily weigh ins so why not come along and join us. You can find the weigh ins on the Home page in the Events section on the right. Just click on the post in Events and record your start weight and any loss/gain or maintain for the week.

To get the most of the forum be active, share tips, recipes and experiences. Read some of the posts they are very motivating.

Thank you for the welcome! And for sending me out my newbie badge 😊.i have looked through some sections so far and as per my message signed up and did the body mass indicator. Today is the day of trying to stop the awful chocolate that I easily eat a 200g bar most days. Let's get this on track !!! πŸ˜‹πŸ‘ best wishes. Linda

Please don't feel disgusted with yourself πŸ˜• Your body is a wonderful machine that is doing a grand job for you 😊 And negativity is not helpful for weight loss.

But as Rose said in her welcome post, it's useful to have the photos to chart your progress 😊

Good luck Louise1101 with your weight loss and lets hope your pictures do push you into sticking with this. I'm sure they will help. Also good luck, you will get lots of support from people here and don't be afraid to ask any questions as someone will always be able to have an answer for you.
