I have gained instead of losing weight<<<
In order to help I think we need info to work on...but sorry this is distressing you; I know, it's scary when you think you're doing everything right and STILL gaining weight!

Don't worry, I keep slipping back too. Tomorrow is another day so just keep plodding on and don't let little set back put you off dieting and exercising.
A weight gain could be for all sorts of reasons like time of the month, time of the day, whether you've recently eaten and the list goes on and on......but none of us have any control over these things.
Just keep going; don't be discouraged by fluctuations because they are quite normal even though it can be discouraging. Next week you may have a big loss which would more than make up for this week.
Just try to make healthy changes and get more exercise into your life and if you persevere the scales will start to behave themselves.
Be kind to yourself and think positively; it really does help x
Don't worry. Just Keep doing more of the same. Weigh everything and look out for things that might be more calorific than you think. I never put dressing on salad at home and got caught out with that when eating out.
Best of british for this week.

Weather getting warmer - so just keep going and perhaps try and fit in a couple of walks. Good luck and I'll try and follow my own advice, too.
muscle is twice as heavy as fat could be bulking up
I agree with kalahuchi, the weight gain could be due to a number of reasons like the weather or the recent food you have eaten. Don't get discouraged, think positive thoughts. A glass of warm water and honey is really good for the body and helps you lose weight faster.
Just a thought, are you eating enough calories a day, have you checked your BMI to see how many calories you should be having? Since putting mine up, I have lost weight. Your body will hang on to what you've got if your not consuming enough. Good luck for next week.
Ok, if you go onto the NHS BMI calculator it will give you the lowest calories and the highest calories you should consume. The highest will help you to maintain and the lowest will help you to loose weight. I do have a few less than my lowest. If you eat as little as possible your body will think you are starving it and it will hold on to your weight to 'feed' you. Although you might initially loose weight by eating very little, in time it will slow down. What ever you do it has to be sustainable, as this is a life style change not a diet. As soon as you up your calories your weight loss will go back on. Hope this helps,
According NHS I have a BMI of 20.5 this is nonsense!!! I am a size 16 in clothes
Did you fill in all the information correctly? How much do you need to loose. You are obviously smaller than me . Did you do all metric/imperial or a mix of both? Hard for me to comment as I don't know your weight or height.
I WEIGH 66KG AT 5FT 8
Hi Pumpkins I put your height and weight in the NHS BMI calculator and that came out as a BMI of 22.1 which is in the middle of the healthy range for your height. Just checking do you have your weight correct as I'm a lot shorter than you and weigh about half a stone more and am also a size 16.?
66kg is about 10 stone 4lb. Or maybe you have a wider bone structure needs a size 16 ? Or do you buy clothes from stores where the sizes come up small (e.g. I find M&s tend to cater for people with smaller waists but larger hips than me) if your weight is correct then it's fine.
NHS suggest 1400 calories for women, I wouldn't drop below 1200. Wishing you good luck.
really I keep thinking what do the Victoria secrets model do to be so slim
