Just starting on my new journey today with a new fitness and weight loss regime. The thought of my life being shortened by various factors has spurred me into finally taking action . old with the old habits and in with the new ones. Fingers crossed that people will soon see a little less of me ! In a good way of course .

Take your measurements at the start along with a photo so you can see the changes when the scales don't move.
We have daily weigh-ins so why not come and join us. You can find the weigh-ins on the Home page in the Events section on the right. Just click on the post to open it and just state your starting weight, what your aim is for the week and any loss/gain/maintain.
To get the best out of the forum be active. Share experiences, ideas and tips. Read through some of the posts in the Topic section there are inspiring and motivating.

Hi Rose thank you and I actually started last Monday and have lost 7lbs . Great incentive to carry on and have been walking a mile everyday so going to increase that to 2 miles this week . Costs nothing to walk and I cant afford to go to the gym !
Very supportive group on here which is great as people dont always understand the struggle I have with losing weight so it is great not to be judged by my size. Thank you again xx
Well done for making the decision to start! The 12 week plan is a great place to start ( I use MyFitnessPal to count calories, it's quick and easy!) and this forum gives a huge boost to motivation and support 🌷
