Try again shall I? Despite all my efforts to lose weight the damn stuff will keep finding me...arghh!!
I started my "diet" 2 weeks ago and have gained 2lb already!! Not a good start, I'm hoping it's just because I've had this horrible bug the last 3 weeks so haven't been as mobile and I've been feeling sorry for myself so the tea and biscuits have got the better of me!! Lol
I just can't shift it and it's really getting me down now π¦

I'm feeling similar to you right now, been watching my calories for two weeks without the scale moving yet, probably shocked my body by the lack of olives and bread haha
Do you have anything nice planned to eat for dinner?
Forget the last 2 weeks, they are in the past and you can't change them. Write down all the reasons, however silly, that you want to loseweight and put a copy in the biscuit tin or whoever your main area of temptation is.
That's a good idea but I never pick on any food what so ever, I'm only craving tea and biscuits because I'm poorly, I don't even usually drink tea unless it's green or peppermint but when I'm ill I just fancy it. π
Hi, I've stuck a slim photo on the fridge and it definitely puts me off munching on anything. Biscuits and chocolate used to be my downfall, now I don't buy biscuits and the only chocolate I allow myself to have is a curlywurly at the end of the day. Good luck
have you lost inches on your waist or change clothes size? if you have then don't be to down about lack of weight loss. Also are you nearing your target weight- it always gets harder as you get close to your target weight- I read it somewhere but cannot remember where!!
I've lost no inches, gained them more like.. And I've gained a stone in weight in 6 months. I changed my lifestyle January of last year and lost a stone.
Put all that back on despite continuing my healthy eating habits...get alot more bloating now than I ever did! Started strictly again 2 weeks ago and have already gained 2lb.. Just don't understand why. I've kept a food diary for over a year and can't see any pattern in that...it's annoying. Little bit more involved maybe! π
Have you changed your diet- eating less meat and more pulse or whole wheat foods? I know when I initially starting a vegetarian and high fibre diet I was bloated for a few months because it took a while for the gut to get used to the non-processed foods. Are you exercising as well- it could be muscle build up or are you sure its not that??!!
No exercising currently as I have a dreadful cold I can't shake, not that I'm any sort of gym goer by far, I do my own thing at home when I'm able.
I have been walking 5 mile twice weekly just so I get some forms and more importantly fresh air. That and working most days so I've been mobile.
As for food, not counting this week as I weigh myself tomorrow but last 2 weeks when I gained I've eaten same as last year, I'm copying my food diary from last year, I've had little bread, lots of veg, more fruit, chicken fish, all freshly prepared everyday nothing much has changed.
Had a bad bout of bloating and belly ache yesterday and a nasty rash broke out last night - what is happening to me π
Maybe you are allergic to something with you have a rash or sensitive to something youre are eating- or constipated (if thats not too personal!!!) Hope you feel better soon and you sort out why you are gaining- ut hopefully when you weigh yourself tomorrow you will ahve a nice surprise
Im sure its not your scales!!! I'm glad you had a good result maybe the rash and everything is due to the stress you were feeling about not loosing any weight? Hopefully this is just the start- good luck
Posted this a month ago...thought, yes I can do this. Bought myself a vibration plate and wobbles machine last week cut down my portion sizes, still eating lots of veg, salads and cooking mostly slimming world meals evenings.
No alcohol these last4 weeks, feel better really apart from I done my back in 2 days ago π drinking yakult everyday which had helped with my bloating and tummy pains which is fantastic for me - thought today I will just check the scales, I know I'm going to be happy with the result!!!
WRONG....IVE GAINED OVER A STONE!!!!!!!!!! π’π’π’
How has this happened? I've been so so good and I was 100% convinced I'd lost a healthy amount, now I'm seriously thinking what is the actual point, all my effort for nothing - I'm so disappointed now, have even had a little cry. It's just not fair π¦
I am so frigging fed up with everything I've tried, my eating healthy being as active as I can be.
Now I'm asking myself why did I decline myself that pizza...I've put weight on eating salads and veggies so should have just had pizza...(screaming) πππ
