Hi and welcome Noreen :)

What a lovely picture, your dress is super :)

Well done for beating cancer, weight loss will be a doddle, by comparison!

Take a look at the Pinned posts section to the right of your screen (bottom if you're using a mobile), read the Welcome Newbie thread first and move through to the challenges, where we hope you'll find at least one that will appeal to you :)

Move down to the Topics, to find a variety of threads, collated into specific topics for ease of access and we ask that you also 'file' your own threads, so that others won't miss your important news :)

Have a look at the NHS 12 week plan, as many people have had success with it. Don't forget to take your starting measurements and a 'before' picture, as they can be very motivating on days that the scales refuse to co-operate :)

We run daily weigh-in's and you would be very welcome to join today's, or any other, bar Monday and Tuesday, which are unfortunately full. The threads can always be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page, bottom on a mobile.

We've found that to get the best out of this community, we need to be active on the forum, as it's where we exchange information, get motivation and inspiration and make friends. We hope that you'll join us here, regularly, too :)

It's only left for me to wish you well on your journey and for your walk for cancer :)

Aww how lovely. My son gets married next August 2018 so I have plenty of time to get to my target. I started last May and have found this forum and the 12 week plan really made me look at foods differently hence my supermarket shop now takes an age as I am forever reading labels lol.

Good luck have you chosen your weigh in day? We have had so many new people join but luckily now have mon-sat weigh ins where it used to be all day Monday only so it's food there is now a choice for people.

Hi if you look at the events section to the right of the screen it's posted by admin on there every day but Sunday, also whoever puts the post on does it and it just comes up on the posts links as you have just posted today. So you choose your day and just click on either link then in the reply box put your weight (starting weight or weight when you last posted) weight you are now reading and what you want to loose by next week e.g.

12.5 last week, 12.3 this week lost 2lbs, aiming for 2lbs next week.

Hope this explains it for you. Bev
