Well done for beating cancer, weight loss will be a doddle, by comparison!
Take a look at the Pinned posts section to the right of your screen (bottom if you're using a mobile), read the Welcome Newbie thread first and move through to the challenges, where we hope you'll find at least one that will appeal to you
Move down to the Topics, to find a variety of threads, collated into specific topics for ease of access and we ask that you also 'file' your own threads, so that others won't miss your important news
Have a look at the NHS 12 week plan, as many people have had success with it. Don't forget to take your starting measurements and a 'before' picture, as they can be very motivating on days that the scales refuse to co-operate
We run daily weigh-in's and you would be very welcome to join today's, or any other, bar Monday and Tuesday, which are unfortunately full. The threads can always be found in the Events section, to the right of the home page, bottom on a mobile.
We've found that to get the best out of this community, we need to be active on the forum, as it's where we exchange information, get motivation and inspiration and make friends. We hope that you'll join us here, regularly, too
It's only left for me to wish you well on your journey and for your walk for cancer
Hi and welcome to this friendly forum where you will receive support and advice only.π
Firstly many, many congratulations on going into remission from breast cancer π I lost my sister to this disease exactly 5 years ago yesterday β€οΈοΈ so breathe deeply and start to live your life to the max as Moorless says loosing weight after what you have been through will be a doddle and we are all here to help each other along the way.
Any help you need just shout out lots of lovely people on here every day to help anyone who needs it. I have no doubt after all you've been through you will do this. Lovely picture by the way. Best wishes BevβοΈ
Aww how lovely. My son gets married next August 2018 so I have plenty of time to get to my target. I started last May and have found this forum and the 12 week plan really made me look at foods differently hence my supermarket shop now takes an age as I am forever reading labels lol.
Good luck have you chosen your weigh in day? We have had so many new people join but luckily now have mon-sat weigh ins where it used to be all day Monday only so it's food there is now a choice for people.
Hi if you look at the events section to the right of the screen it's posted by admin on there every day but Sunday, also whoever puts the post on does it and it just comes up on the posts links as you have just posted today. So you choose your day and just click on either link then in the reply box put your weight (starting weight or weight when you last posted) weight you are now reading and what you want to loose by next week e.g.
12.5 last week, 12.3 this week lost 2lbs, aiming for 2lbs next week.
If you've survived cancer π ππ¬ (fantastic) then losing this extra weight is gonna be just a walk in the park. You'll find loads of genuine lovely people here with advice and support by the bucket full. We're all supporting each other every step. Lovely picture Keep posting and join in the weekly weight - ins. Welcome and have a super weekend xx
