Help! How can I deal with this weather without cake? Too early for bed and when you turn on the telly, it's all food. Completely unmotivated by all the housework tasks that I could do.

Cold wet evening
I was just going to suggest trying something creative, but I noticed you've seen my other post about stitching to occupy itchy hands ☺☺☺
I struggle on these long cold dark winter evenings too, 😕 come on here and chat with us, much healthier than snacks and more entertaining than TV ☺
Hi Applebelly
This weather isn't very nice is it. I always make some soup when I'm feeling cold to warm me up, Potato and leek or veg soup always does the trick.
Look at some of the challenges in the pinned post section they are good to keep you motivated and moving.

Pampering session: feet, hands, face mask. Really hard to eat with wet nails and a facemask. Pray that the doorbell doesn't ring!! Xx
Hello, How about take up knitting, play cards or do a jigsaw puzzle something that can keeps you busy and takes your mind off cake. I dont like the evenings as i always think about cake and chocolate, luckily i have a 6 month old that keeps my mind off these things at the moment, but i do get the odd moment during the day where i fancy a bit of chocolate so i just got and make a hot chocolate seems to do the job.
I find 20 mins with a hula hoop distracts me from cake
Warm bath? Hot shower, a cup of warm tea with a good book and listening to the rain? It's too late tonight. But I love a hot shower(i like steam room no surprisE), and a bit skin care time, after that I don't want food, just bed
I make a cup of fruity tea a) because I may be dehydrated but my brain is (wrongly) telling me I'm hungry and need cake (!) and b) by the time I've made it the urge has usually gone!
