Evening munchies

Hi just wondered if anyone has any tips / ideas for snacks in the evening ?? If I've not quite reached my calorie intake for the day and I have maybe 150-200 cals left what is the best thing to have ?? Normally it would be a cuppa and some biscuits if feeling peckish but find myself not stopping at one or two 😬

Hi, my best tip would be make snacks if you know you'll be hungry in the evening or just will fancy a graze (e.g carrot sticks and dip, fruit slices, or something sweet like a small pot of custard) as in the evening we all fancy something easy and convenient (often foods like biscuits) but by having pre made snacks you will already have convenience and tasty, healthier foods

Thankyou it's normally something sweet I'm after so custard sounds like a good idea 👍🏻

Also many jelly pots are between 8-10 calories so check out those next time you're shopping as they're lovely and sweet

Depending on what you like / dislike:

Sliced apple with a teaspoon of peanut butter to dip them into...

Celery stick with cream cheese (I use full fat, but low fat great too)

Ready-to-eat Poppadoms (35 cals each)

Sugar free boiled sweets (not too many as they can have a laxative effect!)

Few cubes of stilton and some sliced pear

Sugar free jelly with a blob of cream

Frozen yogurt

Freeze a banana and take out before solid and mash it - banana ice cream!

A slice of pineapple with a dusting of Cinnamon heated up in a good non stick pan with a small scoop of ice cream is very satisfying.

I have home made popcorn. You get loads for 100 calls. Or shapers onion rings, about 60 calls with a shapers nougat bar 100 calls if I need something sweet.

Lots of lovely snack ideas given already I kind of have frozen grapes I put 20 in each bag that's 60 calories per bag. Also I am terrible for night snacking so I kind of make frozen lollies basically just ice with a little flavouring in takes me a while to eat them though.

I buy the meringue nests and just have one of those and pile it with berries. So you're getting a bit of a sugar fix but it's not too calorific. I've also started eating tea a bit later. I dunno if that's a bad thing though haha. I get home from work, go to the gym and have my tea about 9 x
