I am ending my second day and not pigging out. I am going to start exercising on Monday because I want my weekends a break from it. I am hoping by talking to you guys tonight will give me incentive for the weekend. And I want everybody to have a Happy New Years and a great 2017!!!!!

Hopefully back on track!!!
See my previous post: "here is what pertains to all"
Happy 2017 Wadestreet You sound like you have a pretty solid plan there. Have a great time tonight and good luck getting started with the exercise on Monday
Thank-you very much!!1
I am going to ignore the calories tonight since I am welcoming the New Year with friends, but will then try (again) to stick to my calorie target. My problem is that I can be good all day then slip into temptation during the evening. Weekend walking is the way forward for me but this time I intend to get good enough on the runs to be able to sign up for our local park run 🏃
You're doing really well not pigging out for 2 days, sometimes at this time of year we just slip easily into old ways and struggle to get back on plan. For me it's a bit like going on a lovely holiday, you really enjoy it but towards then end look forward to getting back home. Healthy eating is being to feel a bit like home.
Great plan to get back to the exercise on Monday, will you be able to take your usual walks? How's the weather, have your winter walking shoes seen much action?
I like that statement healthy eating feels like home!!. Well right now I have a gym track to walk on so no excuses on the sneakers because of the weather. haha. But this June they are closing down for a year and half for renovations and I am really going to miss it The weather is getting pretty cold now. We only had one week of 3 snow storms and then the rain took it away the next week. Unfortunately it was a green Christmas. The worse thing in the winter is the ice. I always seem to fall at least once. Canada's weather go in one door out the other and it changes. haha
I live in Wales, known for its rain so if we do get any snow its quickly washed away and it tends to be what our Canadian relatives call 'wet snow'. I remember from our visit to Newfoundland the phrase "If you don’t like the weather, just wait five minutes” and the fog was amazing, you could literally see it rolling in from the sea.
Hope that by June you find another place to take your regular walks.
Happy New Year
