Well I back on track. Had 3 weeks off. Holidays etc. Good news. I didnt gain. Now I am back and this week lost 4lbs this week. Now down to 15st 2lbs from 18 stone. A total loss of 40lbs now. Got my opp Thursday so covid test tomorrow. Pre opp Tuesday and opp thursday. Getting a bit nervous now. I am in isolation from tomorrow as well.

Well done for not gaining and then coming back with a 4lb loss Ladytrucker1, so close to 3 stones I bet you are well chuffed about that! Operations can feel scary but, think of the benefits. springersrule has recently had her knee op and has a new lease of life.

Thats good news about springersrule. Cornwall was so good. But I watched what I ate and of course a lot of walking. The result of my heart scan was that I have 2 leaky valves and now advised to get down to 11 stone. Ao a good 4 stone those yet. Once this opp is over I think I can relax a bit. I sold my sports car that occupied my garage and now plan on turning into a gym to help get fittwr. Dont fancy the public ones. All those young fit posing health fanatics. A bit embarrassing tbh.

Thank you for all the support. Reading all the posts on this site has kept me going

Sounds good with sticking to plan while away and getting rid of the car and creating a gym sounds fantastic!

It might seem a way to go but, you are already nearly halfway there to 11 stones

👍

Still seams a long was atm tho. But will keep plodding on. I think the gym for me will help me get fitter and tone up. Things are a bit flappy atm. So need to trim up as well.

Don't focus on the end numbers Ladtrucker. Well done on your holiday sts and 4lb loss this week. You have done amazingly well.

I have lost 10st 10lbs since september and couldn't have done it focussing on the overall target. Small chunks all the way. As Bee_bop mentioned i had a half knee replacement 2 weeks 5 days ago and recovery has been and is fantastic. I had my first follow up with physio on wednesday and i can already do everything on the 6 week plan so was discharged on the same day. What you have lost so far will have put you in a much better position for your op this week.

Wishing you the best of luck with the op and recovery plus your weight loss journey after it. You most certainly can do it xx

I would like another 10kg (1 1/2 stone) off to get to a healthy BMI and then take it from there. 😊 x
