Looking for ways to keep myself motivated after a gain this week so posting up my October exercise chart to remind myself I have been working at keeping fit
Hidden 's September strenght challenge encouraged me to up my little exercise routine and I think it's starting to show results. On Monday I will reach my goal of being able to hold a plank for 60 seconds - it was 55 seconds all this week and I'm sure I can hold for another 5 seconds come Monday. When I started I could hardly hold for 10 seconds!
Last week I also reduced the number of reps but upped the hand weights to 5K for the bicep curls - I can just about manage that weight without losing form (but it's really really tough!!) - I'm sticking with the 3K for the other arm exercises at the moment. I'm now toying with the crazy idea of being able to do the splits - stretching a tiny bit further each week until I can do a box split!
Oh my gosh Angusina! That is really impressive! Well done you! You're certainly putting me to shame!
Wow great - well done you
Think I need to do an exercise log too - may make me improve

I use every little trick I can think of to keep me motivated. Believe me I can do sloth like nobody's business !
So glad to see you've done this! This month hasn't been great for all kinds of exercise for me, also my last few lbs have been evading me which is also affecting my motivation. But I also keep meaning to incrementally increase my strength. You know, weight you put on while doing strength exercise could be muscle gain, water retention, or else very easily re-lost through keeping doing the strength. So don't be disheartened. I'm totally going to do a November Strength plan now, and may even reattempt that plank... 😕
