Hiya Everyone, I've got 4 stone to get rid of and just admitted to myself that I need a bit of help. Looking for any advice to get me through the first week.

Hi Lynnedy and Welcome!

I would suggest having a look at the NHS 12-week plan. I found it a really great place to start as it has all sorts of information and hints. You can find it to the right of your screen (or I understand the bottom for phones).

My other best advise is to get out the kitchen scales and weigh everything you eat. It's amazing how much more we eat than a portion size really is! At least, that was the case for me.

Monday is also weigh in day if you would like to post your starting weight and goals. You can also find it in the pinned posts section to the right (or bottom :) ). Don't worry if you don't want to disclose your starting weight right away, I know that can sometimes be daunting. But you might also want to take some measurements (waist, legs, arms, etc.) as many times those will start moving down when the scales seem to be stuck.

Good Luck and I hope you get off to a great start! :)

Hi there!

You can do this! Good luck and very warm welcome to you!! :D

All the best,

Sazkia :)

Great advice already but also check out your BMI on the NHS checker to get your calorie range and then as you lose weight check again to readjust. I wish you luck and determination 😀
