This is week 4 of my 12 week plan and this last week has been horrendous. I know my weigh-in day is tomorrow and Im sure I have put on. I was ill for a few days and didn't eat and since then Ive eaten everything I can. I know its only myself I have let down but I feel a failure. I will have to admit the weight gained tomorrow and start again in week 5.

You never know the scales may hold a surprise. It's no good feeling miserable life is far too short.π
However it's done now you need to draw a line under it and just carry on moving forward. We are all human we all over indulge from time to time.
Dont worry and saying you let yourself don't dont think like your doing great. Think of it this way that week never happened redo week 4. Biggest goal for us is to stop looking at negativeside of things and focus more on the positive
Aww hugs. Never mind, these things happen. Dont be too hard on yourself because if you hardly ate for a few days the primitive part of your brain probably got worried and then made you eat to make up for it. Our survival instincts are very strong. Dont blame yourself. You just got ill and had a bad week.
You are still here so you haven't failed. In the long term 1 weeks results are insignificant, it is the determination to learn from mistakes, put them behind you and carry on that makes you a winner.
It was just one week and sometimes life gets in the way. No one is going to go through life having a perfect week every week and it's about bouncing back next week I hope u haven't gained anything but if you have, just try to forgive yourself and get back on track for the following week
It's rubbish being poorly and it does make me eat everything afterwards as well I always turn to (lots of) cheese on toast for comfort. So please know it isn't just you and you definitely haven't "failed" you've simply hit a speed bump but you're still on the right road xx
Be kind to yourself you are on here so you haven't given up. I remember week 4 and 5 being really hard in my first round of the 12 week challenge. I was so disappointed with myself with one of them I repeated it and did better. I know long term it makes no difference but psychologically it made me feel more in control
Don't beat yourself up. You are human, you are beautiful and you deserve a healthier life. Don't be hard on yourself. Draw a line right now, take some time for yourself (paint your nails, have a long bath whatever) and let it go. Good luck x x x you can do this
If you have been ill your body probably needed nutrients, hence cravings for food. Illness happens, move on when you are well. I don't see any failure. Good luck next week
We all have good weeks and bad weeks..The first few weeks are the hardest to do..so start afresh monday morning..have a good week..plus cold weather makes us eat more..so we need to do activities to distract us..
No need to feel a failure you only fail if you give in which you don't want to, so whatever they say tomorrow it doesn't matter what does matter is that you feel well again, then you can make a plan of action and re start on your mission.
I'm so sorry to hear you've had a tough week. I know you've been feeling miserable tonight, and I hope that you have a really good night's sleep and that you feel a lot better in the morning.
Please don't be too hard on yourself! You can't help being ill, and it's had an impact on your mood and appetite, which does happen, but put that behind you and move forward. Whatever happens tomorrow at the weigh-in, essentially you can move forward from it, and look forward to better health as you begin to feel better, and then you can really focus again - so things will be fine!
You take care, and most importantly, be kind to yourself!
Sleep well tonight.

Hi, don;t forget that if you had a few days eating very little and then a couple eating a lot, a good proportion of any weight gain on the scales will be water, which will go over a day or two when you are back on your regime. So, if you stick to it this week, by your next weigh in you should be back on track and can just forget the past week ever happened.
